VW/Audi Vertical Slot Release Keys

These keys are designed to work with VW and Audi vehicles with vertical release key slots.

Manufacturers have found a number of ways to secure radios in vehicles. Some require dash panels to be removed revealing the securing nuts and bolts. Others use a special mechanism that lock the radio in situ as it is pushed into place. This second bunch of radios require the use of a special set of tools known as release keys. They slot into the dash at specific locations releasing the locking mechanism and allowing the radio to pull free of the dashboard.
